‘Coordinated School Health Program’ was the 1st project of emed and was launched in 2003. Since then the global health organization has marched with success on the road of providing health education & awareness to the school going children by arranging training workshops on medical emergencies in schools, lectures on communicable diseases, healthy life style, water borne diseases, obesity, dental hygiene & by free testing of the parents & teaching staffs of the schools. Schools, also, have always found it very useful to participate in various health awareness activities as best poster/poem/skit competitions & awareness walks.
On 30.9.2009 this collaboration in health awareness leaped forward when emed, in collaboration with Faisalabad Arts Council, organized an inter-school skit competition for 9 schools of Faisalabad city on ‘Household Poisons’ which is a very important area where students, teachers & students need education & information.
