emed Healthy Quiz program is a new chain of health awareness efforts initiated by Vice President emed, Assistant Professor Dr Humaira Arshad.
First program of the series was organized at the Government College for Girls Madina Town, Faisalabad Pakistan. Dr Humaira Arshad along with her team of emed lady doctors & medical undergraduates, Dr Siddiqa Javed, Dr Amna Gul, Hina Sultan, Fiza Asif & Maida Mehwish held a quiz competition based upon blood deficiency (anemia), weak bones and unhealthy life style.
On the occasion, Dr Humaira Arshad addressed hundreds of girls present as the audience and told them about the dangers of anemia & weak bones in their coming life. She told them that by correcting life style & eating habits, the young girls can save themselves from these dangers.
The quiz competition was won by 2nd year team. The winner & runner up teams were awarded with the trophies Principal of the college Mrs Abida Fiaz was also present on the occasion along with her staff members & she appreciated the efforts of emed doctors & students in creating health awareness at the level of schools & colleges.
