Workshop on Research Methods in Biomedical Sciences


Master Trainers in medical education got their first training workshop on 'Research Methods in Biomedical Sciences' in University of Health Sciences from December 5th-9th 2005. Chief Facilitator of the workshop was Prof Rachel Jenkins from Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College - UK. She was ably supported by Prof
Atif Rehman from Department of Psychiatry, Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan.

Vice Chancellor of UHS, Prof Mubashar Malik did the opening of the workshop & introduced Prof Rachel Jenkins. This was followed by following programme:

Closing Ceremony

 

On the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor UHS, Prof Mubashar Mail, was accompanied
by Principal Services Institute Medical Services (SIMS) Lahore, Pakistan, Prof Faisal Masood. Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of medical education & showed great expectations from the selected Master Trainers. He declared them as stars of University of Health Sciences & showed trust in their performance. Participants gave comments & suggestions which were noted by Vice Chancellor & promised full support to the team.

Vice Chancellor thanked Prof Rachel Jenkins & Prof Atif Rehman for their hard work during the workshop & appreciated all the staff members of University for commendable arrangements. In the end participants were awarded with certificates of participation by Prof Rachel Jenkins & Vice Chancellor UHS.
