On the request of school administration, emed’s ‘School Health System’ Programme extended its services to The City School Faisalabad & a team of emed doctors delivered awareness lectures on Wednesday, 6.2.2008.

Children from the level of Kindergarten to Grade 3 & 4 were divided in 3 groups & emed doctors taught them basic hygiene methods, dental care & criteria of safe drinking water.

Dr Khurram Sohail Raja trained the children on ‘How to wash their hands’ & children demonstrated repeatedly until they started showing perfection.

New emed teacher & qualified dental surgeon, Dr Ambreen Naz showed beautiful presentations to the children according to their mental level on dental care. Children showed great interest in those & gave a very lively feedback.

Dr Tauseef Ahmad from Medical Unit-III, presented a movie on water supply to Faisalabad & what are the standards of safe drinking water.

Headmistress The City School, Mrs Shaheena Babar remained present during the lectures & while thanking emed team, she termed the lectures very useful & unique for the little children.

On behalf of school administration & emed coordinator in the City School, Mrs Asma Amer, two children presented bouquet & thank you cards to the emed team.
