When Project Director of emed mothers groups, Associate Professor Dr Hina Ayesha introduced the project with its objectives in Bahria Foundation School & College Faisalabad, it was decided by school administration & emed members to have a series of workshops on the importance of the milestones of children’s growth & development.
The 1st of the series was organized on the vital topic of breast feeding & emed members Mrs Huma Hafeez & Miss Sadia Mushtaq worked hard to convince the mothers to attend the workshop.

The workshop arrangements were done on 15.4.2008 in the CPC room of the Allied hospital Faisalabad & mothers & young lady doctors turned up despite of raining & adverse weather conditions.
General Secretary emed, Dr Khurram Sohail Raja introduced emed to the participants & President emed Prof Ahmad Bilal welcomed the participants & thanked Mrs Huma Hafeez for her efforts & help in arranging the awareness session.
Dr Hina Ayesha conducted three sessions of lectures, role plays & feed backs & concluded on the note from the participants that they never had that information before & after the workshop they would be in far better position to educate & guide the ladies on a very important issue.
In her brief address, Mrs Huma Hafeez appreciated the efforts of emed & said that she felt very comfortable to join the platform which is creating awareness in appreciable manner.
Prof Ahmad Bilal distributed certificates among the participants with the help of Mrs Huma & Dr Lubna. Participants left the workshop with very positive feed back.
