Public representatives & staff of municipal corporation showed particular interest in holding the camp in the area & announced about it in their area two days before camp so it was heavily attended as 2,789 public members were screened from 3:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m for sugar, cholesterol, test on bone mineral density & condition of blood vessels of legs (Doppler test) & free advise and councilling was given by doctors of emed & All Pakistan Diabetes & Endocrine Society including Prof Ahmad Bilal, Dr Khurram Raja, Dr Tauseef, Dr Ijaz, Dr Jahanzeb, Dr Tayyaba & Dr Uzma. The area comprised of people of low socio economic group with high poverty, lack of awareness & poor civic conditions. Free councilling given by the doctors was highly beneficial for these people.
