Free screening camping with medical advice is a persistent service by emed since 2006. Poor people get benefit of availing, otherwise, costly tests in the market. Mr Amjad working in Express TV requested for a free health camp in the slums of Ghowsiabad which is low lying area of the city & thickly populated by very poor people. Camp was arranged on Thursday, 31.12.2009 & it offered free sugar, cholesterol, Ca & Vitamin D estimation, Bone Mineral Density (BMD) & Body Mass Index (BMI) tests. People were seen very interested in knowing there health status & started gathering in big numbers at 10 a.m. when the proceedings started.

Mr Amjad did good arrangements & had propagated the news of camping in an effective way as about 400 people were screened out in 6 hours. Prof Ahmad Bilal, Dr Khurram Raja, Dr Tauseef Iqbal, Dr Awais ur Rehman, Dr Aqeel Maqsood, Dr Waqas Qarshi & Dr Tehmina Aslam examined the patients & advised them according to the results of the screening tests.

People of the area & surroundings thanked emed doctors & staff members for sparing their time & offering humanity services to the poor people.
