It has become a tradition that emed teachers introduce their objectives & accomplishments to the new entries in Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Pakistan. This year, too, through the courtesy of Head of Biochemistry Department and emed teacher, Prof Mohammad Ashraf, the platform was introduced on 8.12.2009.
Dr Khurram Raja & Dr Humaira Arshad were introduced to the class by Prof Mohammad Ashraf summarizing the achievements of emed in the recent years.
It was followed by a multi-media presentation of emed by Dr Khurram Raja who stressed upon the need of paying back to the country which has given us respect, future, recognition & status. He introduced the projects to the eagerly listening 1st year students.
Dr Humaira Arshad highlighted the common health problems in our youth & how they can be reduced by elevating their awareness & education levels. She thanked by Prof Mohammad Ashraf for being the member of emed & for giving the time for the introduction.
Fifteen enthusiastic students have joined emed from the class so far & will be participating in the forthcoming undergraduate research competition.
